Bendigo Golden Mile Day

Ararat, home of the former State mental facility known for many horror stories in its heyday. No horror today on what should be a day of delight. The Nursery of Champions could be a nightmare.

Let's kick off at Ararat a tat tat. It's a famous System 2/3 for Trigger with the main concern in R1. I have opted for N7over the fave, FYI, Poseidon's only legitimate son was Triton. His other off spring reads like a who's who of minor Greek Gods. Ol' Poseidon had trouble keeping his strides up.

In R2 going with the N11 and in R3, N4

What can I say about racing at the NOC? Tough, tough and Tough, a bit like Amphitrite. Find a couple of winners, find a bottle of bubbly and a cray. I am going for one a decent price to start my punt at Bendigo, R3 N4, $26 should be freely available.

In the legs of the Q, phew! My best at NOC is in the first leg which helps narrow it down a bit. R7 N10. Full Q is,

10 x 1, 12 x 7,8.9.10,12.13,16,17 x 12,15,16. Could have had another 5 runners in the second leg.

It's a fair days racing in TCOC today as well, a far cry from their normal fare. R1 N3 to go back to back anf Freedman's in the 2yo. Another Q with a million chances, ended up with,

2,5 x 1,3 x 1,2,3,9,10,11 x 10,14.

Poseidon also sired horses (Pegasus for one) and he was such a respected sire some of his nephews claimed him as their dad. Must have been a real adventure hangin' with Poseidon, God of the Sea and bro of Zeus. Those two would have had some parties.

Dame Fortune says she hopes your boat floats.
